The buttons <gui>Skip backward</gui> and <gui>Skip forward</gui> in the lower left corner skip a few seconds back or ahead. The amount of time can be changed in the Preferences dialog.
Les boutons <gui>Saut arrière</gui> et <gui>Saut avant</gui> dans le coin inférieur gauche permettent des sauts de quelques secondes en arrière ou en avant. La durée peut être modifiée dans les <link xref="Préférences"/>.

In the lower left corner there are the controls with a <gui>Play</gui> button which toggles between play and pause. Whenever you pause, <app>Parlatype</app> rewinds a few seconds to make it easier to resume. This can be changed in the Preferences dialog.
Dans le coin inférieur gauche se trouvent les commandes avec un bouton <gui>Lecture</gui> qui bascule entre lecture et pause. À chaque pause, <app>Parlatype</app> rembobine de quelques secondes pour faciliter la reprise. Cela peut être modifié dans les <link xref="Préférences"/>.
