Push Notifications help mobile users of Tox (with TRIfA and Antidote) to save battery and network bandwidth.
this feature will contact an out of band HTTPS webserver with the Push Token for your friend, no other information ist sent!
but this will reveal your IP address to the webserver and also the time you pinged your friend.
you can prevent your IP from being sent by using a proxy server (like Tor).
If you disable this setting, mobile users may receive your messages much later than you send them.
the only allowed Push Servers are (no other servers will ever be contacted):
