If you want to check the rendering by downloading the translated file, you may:

  • clone and follow these instructions to setup locally the documentation website: https://github.com/gristlabs/grist-help
  • download the translation and put it in the right folder, under /help/LANGUAGE/docs (you may check /mkdocs.yml to find the expected location of your file relative to /help/LANGUAGE/docs)

If we want a column that stores who last edited a record (as opposed to its creator), the procedure is similar to that for [a "Created By" column]{1}, but instead of `Apply to new records`, select `Apply on record changes`. Then select `Any field` (assuming you want any change in a record to count as an update) and press `OK`. You can alternatively pick and choose which columns, when updated, will trigger the formula.
Si nous voulons une colonne qui enregistre le nom de la dernière personne qui a modifié une ligne (par opposition à la personne qui a créé la ligne), la procédure est similaire à [une colonne "Créé par"]{1}, mais au lieu de "Appliquer sur les nouvelles lignes uniquement", sélectionnez "Réappliquer en cas de modification de la ligne". Sélectionnez ensuite `N'importe quel champ` (en supposant que vous voulez que tout changement dans une ligne soit considéré comme une mise à jour) et appuyez sur `OK`.
